“Friendship isn’t about who you’ve known the longest, it’s about who walked into your life, said, ‘I’m here for you,’ and proved it.”

(Tyler-left/Caleb-Right)
I’ve formed relationships on the World Race. Lots and lots of relationships. The two that stand out though are my brothers, Tyler and Caleb.
I’ve been writing blogs about people who’ve become incredibly important to me this past year and when thinking about these two, I had to put them together in one blog.
They’ve been with me since the start. From training camp through the first four months on the race we were on the same team and our friendship has only grown since then. With Tyler as my pesky but wise older brother, and Caleb as the energetic and bold younger brother, I’ve come to rely on these guys, and they’ll be with me the rest of my life.
Tyler was someone I wanted to get to know even before training camp. He walks in so much wisdom and has experienced so much in his life, that I was ecstatic when I was put on a team with him. I’ve learned so much from him about dreams, prophecy and other gifts, boldness, spiritual warfare… the list goes on. Yes, he loves to annoy the heck out of me (he’s very much physical touch, and I’m growing in that area), but he’s also someone I completely trust and love.
Caleb was someone I connected with at training camp as we pretty much immediately hit it off. He’s someone I connected with in that we’d both never traveled on an international mission trip, but that’s only the beginning of the list. Caleb walks in incredible maturity, wisdom and knowledge and the guy is seriously gifted in worship. He, like Tyler, is physical touch and loves to annoy me with that, but if I ever need to bounce ideas off of someone or even am looking for advice, Caleb is someone I’ve been able to turn to.
These are a couple of the friends and brothers who’ve proved worthy of that title over and over this past year, and I can’t wait to see what God does through all of us in the future. They’re family now.
Thank you Tyler and Caleb
God Bless!
-Ben
