8 months.
8 countries.
8 cultures.
8 different homes.
Wow!
The Race is going by so fast. I blinked and found myself in month 8, Romania. My last country in Eastern Europe. This is the month where my mommy gets to visit me. I am really looking forward to seeing her and inviting her into the world I’ve been living the past 8 months.
The next two weeks I will be staying and serving at church called Living Hope in the city Pitesti. We will be spending our time doing neighborhood outreach with kids and helping out at events for the homeless community here in the city.
On the 19th I will be traveling to a city called Draganesti. Then on the 21st all the parents will be arriving to meet up with their races. There, we will be doing ministry and different activities with our parents. Then on the 26th, we all will be traveling to Bucharest, which is the capital of Romania. There we will have one free day to spend with our parents before they fly out.
The rest of my time in Romania will be spent with my whole squad in Bucharest, debriefing and resting.
THEN…on June 2nd our squad will be flying to AFRICA!! YAY!
Just an update on what I will be up to this next month. (:
Prayer Requests:
My team and our last month together, myself as I am on the back end of The Race (energy, motivation, strength, perseverance), my brother(Logan) as he heals from his surgery, my grandpa(John) as he nears the end of his life due to cancer, and my future community and church when I return home.
Thanks y’all! love you tons.
