Hey y’all! I am three days into training camp. Wahooo crazy I know! So many new things and chaos going on all around me. But none the less such exciting things are happening. I learned how to pitch my tent, set up my sleeping bag and sleeping pad…and then I learned how to take it all down two times in 3 days. Yes, you heard me right. The best part so far is the people. My squad is AMAZING. God has blessed “P Squad” with so many amazing, unique, and beautiful people. I am so excited to do life with these people for the next year. I’ve only known them for 3 days and I already feel like they are my family.
The other best or BETTER part of training camp is GOD. Oh, my goodness He is working. Like wahooo. It is only day 3 and this is what I’ve seen, experienced, and felt: God is already moving, and changing me; He is opening my eyes to things I’ve never seen before; He is preparing me in ways I’ve never thought I needed; He is speaking to me in such strong ways that send chills down my back and bring me to tears; He is healing me; He is showing me what it means to be a daughter of God; He is revealing to me what it means to be his beloved, to be saved; He is showing me a new meaning of community; He is surrounding me with other believers; He is helping me understand more fully the work He did on the Cross; I am learning just how deep His love is for us, He hangs on our every word; He longs for us to know Him and for us to seek Him above anything else; He calls us into worship, to worship Him freely, with our whole entire being; He is showing me what true strength, peace, and love far beyond how I’ve seen them in my life; He is giving me new eyes to see people around me through the eyes of grace, how HE ultimately sees us; He calls us into intimacy with Him AND with each other; He shows us how to do this; He is always teaching and always working for our good!!!!
WOW, THAT IS A LOT AND ITS ONLY DAY 3!!!
Guys if you didn’t know God is SOO good and WILL change your life if you let Him.
