Happy Easter a day late! No this is not an April fools joke.
Lent season is over. He has risen.
I just love Easter because we get to celebrate our risen King! There are so many reasons to be thankful and this is another day to express our thankfulness to God for all that he has provide for us.
Speaking of Lent, I was able to stay strong for 40 days of not wearing makeup. It was easier then I thought it was going to be. I learned that I can express beauty in more ways than just one(physically). God has created us with a specific purpose and we all bear his image, which in and of itself makes us beautiful and worthy. I was able to develop some self-confidence without wearing makeup and realized there is a lot more to a person then just meets the eye.
I also thought about how when I am on the WorldRace, I probably won’t be wearing a lot of makeup and though this time of Lent was great practice for that.
Finally, this month we are having a blog challenge! My plan is to blog a total of four times this month about different topics. SO…stay tuned for those posts!
