Well, friends, you’ve watched me prepare for this next chapter of my life for the last 8 months and now here we are. I launch in less than 20 days! That means in less than 20 days I will have made my bed for the last time, petted my dog for the last time, hugged all of my friends for the last time, and watched my family drive off as they leave Atlanta after dropping me off. I have obviously known this was coming, however, the closer it gets the sadder it becomes. Although it is sad to think about how I wont get to eat cheesecake by the lake with my friend Ashten, play “name that tune” with my dad, try new coffee shops with my friend Libby, drive around town with my sister, or order coffee for my mom for 9 months… I am so incredibly beyond exciting for this adventure! I cannot wait to see what God is doing and is going to do in the countries I will be visiting. As I am nearing my time to leave, here’s how you can help:
I want to ask you to partner with me in prayer. I know that without God I am unable to do this, so I ask for your partnership in prayer. I know that without this covering I am not equipped to do what is set before me. General ways to pray for me are to pray for the communities we will be visiting, ministries, my team members, travel, health, and safety. I am asking for prayer warriors to commit themselves to a specific day to pray over a specific topic.
Sunday – Protection from satanic attacks
Monday – Attitude of servanthood
Tuesday – Safety in travel
Wednesday – Health in soul & body
Thursday – Discipline in devotions and filling with the Holy Spirit
Friday – Compatibility with fellow squad members
Saturday – God to lead to prepare hearts
