I’ve been gone for just over a month and wanted to share what I have been doing. When I arrived in the Philippines we worked with a ministry there called K.I.M or Kids International Ministry. There where allot of different options for ministry there. Allot of the ministry options where working with children. Now I love kids but I love more to give them back to there parents. So I asked God “Lord what would you have me do here?” He said very distinctly, “Build foundations!” I said OK lord I don’t know what that means will you please show me.
Well we did the tour of the location we where staying at in Cantina, Rizal Philippines just out side of Manila. And as we where touring we walked up to the location where they where literally building the foundation for the High School. I laughed at my self thinking when the Lord told me to build foundation I would have to search high and wide to find what he meant.
It was very direct in my face no duh here is what I want you to do this month. God knew I would help at the kids home if that is where he wanted me but that was not where my heart was at. God is so good to his children he knows our hearts desires.
Now that we are in the Philippines I will also be building foundation. My team will be working with “Bella Goose” to help start an Exchange Program, this includes making the curriculum and going around to find more ministry’s that would be interested in taking part in the Exchange Program. We are all very excited to start on Monday!
Now what I have learned about foundations threw this past month is: Romans 8:28
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Now foundations may seem meaningless on the day to day. But from those foundations I was blessed to be apart of last month and this month so many lives will be changed. And kids and adults alike who never had a change to hear the word of Go will because of the foundations he as established in Cantina, Rizal Philippines and here in Chaing Mia, Thailand. I am humbled and blessed to be a part of the foundations come to fruition. Years later I can look back and say I got to be a part of that!!! What a true blessing!
I really need prayer for fundraising we have a dead line coming up and I still have 6,800 dollars to raise so can you guys please be praying for me.
