Hellooooooo Friends! And welcome to another blog! I think this might be my favorite blog I have written so far because I get to introduce my first TEAM! I just finished training camp in Gainesville, Georgia where I got to meet my squad, my team and learn a ton about Jesus. It was an excellent two weeks, which might be surprising because I spent 11 nights sleeping in a tent, taking cold bucket showers and looking daddy long legs in the eyes every night.

On our squad, we have 37 (including myself) young adults that are ready to go out and proclaim the good news of Jesus to the World! The 37 of us are split into multiple teams of 6-7 people. These are the people we will spend the most time with and possibly all 11 months together. So without further ado- TEAM TIGRESS!

Our fearless leader: Eva DiDonato

“Hi, my name is Eva! Pronounced like like forever, Eva 😉 I’m a 1st-grade teacher. Born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Seattle is home. I love hiking, traveling and using essential oils. And I am super pumped to be spending the next year on the World Race to spread the love of Jesus!” – Eva

Our creative storyteller: Krista Booker

“My name is Krista but my childhood nickname is Chicha. I live in Jersey about 30 minutes away from Philly, and 45 minutes away from the shore. Animals are my passion and I worked as am animal experience specialist at an aquariam for a year and a half. If I could live underwater I totally would. I love to try new things. I also strive to understand all walks of life, so what better way to do that than sharing God’s love around the Globe! Stay lit fam!”

PSA: Krista made an excellent video about training camp – you can watch it here!

Our wise logistics leader: Paige Holness

“I’m from Nashville (best place ever). I learned about the race from one of my friends and thought “wow I’ve always wanted to travel the world and what better way to do it the whole way!” So here I am! I love, love, love kiddos, so my only jobs have been working with them. Last winter I got to teach kids how to ski & I thrived. I am so stoked to spend the year with this team!!” – Paige

Ashley Jones

“My name is Ashley Jones, I’m 30 years old, and I am from Jackson County, GA. I rededicated my life to the Lord 3 and a half years ago. The Journey since has been amazing. I love to be outside doing anything from camping, hiking, kayaking, swimming, fishing… you name, I love it!!” – Ashley

Sharon Mosley

“My name is Sharon Mosley. I am 33 years old, live in White Plains, NY and work in Manhattan, New York City at NY’s #1 Hospital in the Patient Finance. God put the World Race on my heart while I was no a mission trip to Guatemala last year. I am excited to step out of my comfort zone in faith to bring the good news of Jesus to the nations. I’m also excited to do life with Team Tigress and all of O Squad!” – Sharon

And last (but not least) Yours truly, Ashley Collins (You can read all about me here)

A little bit about why we chose our name: Tigress in a straightforward form means a fierce and passionate woman. It may sound simple, but it has so much to do with the women in my group. I see a fierceness & passion in every one of them. I am so excited to spend multiple months with these ladies to see how Jesus moves in their lives and also to see the love of Jesus poured out of them. It’s going to be an adventure, to say the least!!!

Thanks for reading everyone! Love y’all!
