And Money Kept Raining!!

If you haven’t yet read my blog titled “Money Fell From the Sky!!!” you need to! (here’s the link)

But in order or this blog to make sense, here is a quick recap copied from that blog with the important main points you need to know for this blog:

Another oh-so-generous child of God sent me $250!!!!!! 

I’m now MORE than covered with what I needed. God filled my lack and then some!

Through trusting/ relying on insurance company I only would’ve received $600 back, but God said “lol that’s cute, there’s no way I’m leaving my child in lack” (paraphrasing of course; I call this the ABV “ashbutt version”).

So, not only did he give me the whole price of the bill, including what I would’ve lost in the deductible… He ended up DOUBLING what the insurance company would’ve given me!!!

 

I mean wow. He really could’ve stopped there and already have outdone himself. 

But wait, there’s more!

I realized I had surplus, so I started giving a away. I gave $50 to one squad-mate M who I knew wasn’t fully funded,  and when I received that last $250- as mentioned in the last blog- I realized how much excess I had, and asked God what to do with it. He asked me to give it to another squad-mate P who isn’t yet fully funded either (what is it to be the church if I’m living in surplus as my sister is in lack?) I gave her the $250 I had just received, trusting God would provide for me like he always has. Although there wasn’t much need to trust, as this gift didn’t hurt me so much since I still had so much surplus! I just simply obeyed because I cared for my friends, and I knew God had given to me to also give to others. He gave to me so that I was better equipped to further his kingdom more in this way.

Yesterday, I received another random donation from my cousin who gave me $50 which covered my first gift to my own friend.

Then today I got an email, and I was SUPER excited to read what it said:

“Hi Ashley,

So, as of today, I received the full amount of the insurance claim which I had filed 4 months ago! WOW! God is so good!! As if he didn’t already take care of that amount I needed twice, he triple checked to make sure his child was taken care of! 

But that’s not all! They gave me an extra $500 indemnity for taking 2 months longer than they had promised to. (Part of our insurance through the World Race says that we would get a refund within 60 days). God has already given me back DOUBLE of what I gave to my teammate just a few days ago! WOW!!!!

Moral of the story is: The fruit of obedience is something truly sweet. Tithes and offerings are important to build the church, so give to God. He’ll always give back even more! You can NEVER out give God.
