I met my first goal of 5,000$! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, it means the absolute world to me. Fundraising has been touch and go but I’m really fortunate enough to have amazing people in my life who can see what I’m doing and want to be apart of it.
I’ve noticed with fundraising and asking people for money that at times it can bring a selfish side out of me. I set my expectations high and when people don’t meet them I shut down and become discouraged which leads to a serious dry spell in blogging and reaching out to people.
Getting out of this dry spell and having more confidence has been extremely hard but just knowing what I’m going to be doing in just a few months has really shined a light. I still have a lot to go but I have confidence and faith that God will provide and I’ll make my next deadline.
