Wow! God has been blowing my mind these past few weeks. Almost my entire first $5,000 down payment has been paid off I still have until June 22nd to have all of it. I am now 20.25% funded for my entire trip. Praise God! Seriously though, at the beginning of this month God rocked my world. He opened His flood gates and I received almost $2,000 in two weeks. God is providing and using all of you. A few of you offered to host a dessert night at your house where I could share my story with more people.  Today, I even gave a speech for my college class and challenged them with how they can be involved. Friends from church are willing to teach dance lessons if we can pull off some Summer Nights dance events.  Last week after a game, Mom chatted with a ref about the Easter play and he proceeded to offer to print shirts that I could use as a fundraiser. (Side note, his daughter is currently doing a gap year with World Race.)  Additionally, I have been hired to do extra babysitting jobs and may paint a few murals to earn money too. Thank you! I am so amazed at how willing people have been to support me. I am blown away by the pure generosity of friends and family. God has blessed me beyond my wildest imagination and I cannot even begin to describe my gratitude.

God has also provided me with an amazing family who loves and supports me. Just last night my fantastic father assisted me with my prayer calendar. It took math and measuring skills that I now know how to do. God has given me a friend group that, though small, carries me through thick and thin. He has provided me with a safe and warm home, plenty of food, and unconditional love. I have no doubt in my mind that He will continue providing funds for me and giving me ideas as to how I can use my talents to earn money creatively.

The next two weeks are going to be a little hectic and I could use prayer. My mom and I leave for Brazil THIS Friday. I am very excited to go share Jesus especially over Holy Week! We will be staying on the YWAM base and on the river boat (sleeping in hammocks) as we work our way up the Amazon sharing the gospel with the river people. The prayer would be that I don’t have a heart attack and die from any creepy crawly creatures that I may encounter. We are asking God so soften hearts and prepare them to receive His message of hope and healing. Also, please pray for the safety of all eleven of us, ages 17 through 84….at least one person from each decade, going on the the trip.  All that to say I am the youngest going on this trip. I really hope and pray that I can glean lots and lots of wisdom on this adventure. Pray I have to many good questions for everyone!

Also, my siblings and I along with multiple friends are in the play Pilgrim.  It is a musical based off of John Bunyan’s Pilgrims Progress. We have the opportunity to tour this production all over the Denver Metro area. The rest of my family is in the Easter production at my church over Easter week while mom and I are in Brazil. Because of all the stuff my family is doing for the kingdom, Satan is not happy. I know for a fact there is and will be more spiritual warfare. With that in mind I would also like to ask for prayer cover over the rest of my family as my mom and I will be gone for a week and a half.

If you have specific prayer requests please feel free to email me! I want to be able to lift you up in prayer as well As I have said before I am so glad you are apart of my journey. I look forward to sharing my adventures with you. Blessings!

Matthew 6:26-34

26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
