Hi!

My team and I have been in Costa Rica this month. We went to three different cities. In Puerto Viejo we helped the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base there. In San Jose we worked with a ministry called Transforma that equips women in poverty to be leaders in their community and helps them get out of poverty. In San Ramon we served at a Christian camp.

This month was a difficult month for me. I decided to overcome it by focusing on what I am thankful for and asking others what they are thankful for. I also want to encourage you to invite God into whatever season of life you’re in right now and the difficult areas of life. Ask Him to bring His light, peace, love, and comfort to that situation. I hope you enjoy the video.

My squad leaves for Panama today. My team has a 17 hour bus ride to Panama City (which doesn’t include time we’re at the bus station prior to leaving.) My team will be working with Campus Crusade for Christ, aka CRU, in Panama City. We’ll be staying in a hostel with another team, Swordfish, this month with wifi and AC. Woot Wooh!!

One specific prayer request for my squad: good health. Many of us have had various atypical physical aliments over the course of the race.

I hope you are doing well. Keep your head up! God’s got you.

Love,

Amanda
