Hey Friends!
Just a quick update. 🙂 I am currently in Manzini, Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland). It is an all squad month, and we are living on a local homestead with 40 people. There are 3 houses on the property. My team is in two of the houses as well as another team, and the rest of my squad is tenting outside. Supper feels like a family Thanksgiving or Christmas meal with everyone eating together. I am doing administrative work in an office this month helping the organization, Children’s Hope Chest. Around 10 of my squad mates and teammates and I take a bus to get into Manzini every day for ministry/work. I actually feel like I have a ‘job’ and go to work every day. It’s a nice change. My other teammates and squad mates help with other ministries in the community like preschool, agriculture, maintenance, and house visits.

I have a new team now, and our team name is 7th Heaven haha lol.
Savannah is the team leader (the one in the hat). Ashley is the team and squad treasurer (white shirt and green pants, looking at Miguel wondering what he is doing lol). Morgan is the team storyteller (gray shirt, laughing next to Ashley). Theo is the one that looks like Jesus lol. Miguel is being goofy. Miguel and Ryan were on my last team. Since it is all squad month, we are developing team unity and have team time every night Monday thru Friday.
Today we had a women’s event, Beauty for Ashes. It went really! I tried to post a few pictures from the event but am unable to due to current wifi situation. I will try to post more pictures when I am able.
