I have felt a calling for many months now to do more in my life, to learn and be able to teach people about our one true King . With the unknown of what to do after graduation, the only thing I was sure of was that I was meant to show people the joy that comes from Jesus, in whatever way I could. Now I have the opportunity of a lifetime to wholeheartedly share the gospel with many people. I have already had feelings of unworthiness and questioning if I can honestly do this… do I know enough or am I a good enough Christian to share His word? We are all worthy in His eyes and God can do amazing things in our lives, if we let Him.

This year long mission trip is unbelievably scary for me to do with leaving behind my family, my friends, my sweet puppy, and all of my possessions besides a single backpack. It is almost unimaginable, but He has shown me what it means to fully trust in my Creator. I have a burning within my soul that tells me I was made for this and He has a bigger way to use me than I could ever dream of. A huge word that has been placed on my heart is abandonment. Come to find out during my interview that abandonment is one of the key principles of the World Race, knowing that you will leave everything and everyone to fully trust and look to the Lord everyday, leaning on Him with all you have. I am ready to go make disciples of the nations and humble myself to bring the light of the Lord to others. God told me to GO and I said YES!
