So recently I’ve been doing a lot a lot of dreaming with the Lord. As I’ve come into a lot more self awareness and started to walk in a lot more freedom in the choices that I have, I’ve started to dream a lot bigger. I’ve heard it said that if our dreams seem doable to us then they’re not big enough and I believe that wow with my whole heart.
So as I’ve been doing the same thing, I want to invite you in. I invite you to dream with the Lord. I invite you to search your heart for what’s written there by your creator. What things you love, what your passionate about, what makes you burn up inside. What makes your heart beat faster. What makes your heart swell up so much that you think it’s gunna explode right out of your chest. Whatever it is that makes you PUMPED for life. Because that’s the life we’re meant to live. Not halfhearted or lukewarm. Not even “normal”. That’s a really good word to camouflage the other two.
I invite you to do the crazy thing that you want to do because why the heck not? What is stopping you? The father gave you this life as a gift to glorify him and bring you joy— and here’s a secret: those two things are actually the same thing and you can’t have one without the other. If you don’t love the life you’re living (I’m talking to christians), what do you have that other people don’t? What’s the point? And I don’t mean shallow love I mean WOW I love life because the father is good and I get to do this wild thing for his glory because HES GOOD HALLELUJAH AND AMEN. He gets madddd glory when we, his kids, are living our best life and rejoicing like crazy. If you saw kids that were sad or bored every day would you want to be a part of that family? Nope. So do something that makes you excited because the life he’s given you is worth being excited over because he’s worth being excited over and I don’t know about you but I LOVE being a part of this family and I want everyone to know about it and want it too because it’s the best.
Also, God really loves to flex his God muscles and do the big things and move the mountains, so go out on a limb and trust him in seeing your dreams come to fruition. Watch him come through. Ask Him what His dream for you is. Even if you think it’s not, his dream is the same as yours because he loves you crazy and wants you to be so on fire for life. It may even be something that seems small compared to other people’s dreams, but 1. comparison can get the heck out because it doesn’t belong here and 2. I promise that whatever it is, it’ll make you step out in faith because that’s Gods heart for you. He wants to see you trust him when it’s risky and he wants to come through for you. Wow HES GOOD. What the heck.
Okay that’s all. Dream the dreams. Just do it. Jump off the cliff. It’s free and it’s fun and the sweet thing is the Father will catch you so it seems like a risk but there’s actually no risk at all. Crazy how God does that. Wow. Leaves us with no excuses to live a boring, non dream filled life.
