Look around, see how many friends you have.
I’ve been wanting to write a blog for a few days now and just haven’t found anything good to write on. I saw this quote “Fundraising isn’t about the money its about people”. If theres one thing I’ve learned from my business program its that business is about relationships. Before I started to take fundraising seriously I was telling myself “God has this, the money will come in Gods timing” and when I started to focus on fundraising my mentality shifted to the money and as I was so money focused it became a strain on me to raise the money so I decided to focus less on the money and more on the people. Thats when it became fun and more life giving thats when joy started to enter in. I have overflowed with joy in this process because I am focusing less on the money and more on the relationships and God has turned that ten fold in funds. New relationships have come out of this process and this process has strengthened existing ones.
If you have given I am so incredibly thankful for it and please continue to pray for me and lift me up. I need friends not money. I need relationship not money. I need God far and beyond more than I need money. Life is about loving others showing Gods love to others.
