The focus of life needs to be on God and his wholeness alone for we cannot be whole on our own. We make less of ourselves with our sin in our soul without Christ.
What I have been learning is that it’s really hard to know someone and understand their heart with out first understanding where they came from. This is why the fundraising process is so crazy important for this life as it insists upon a full dependance on God to provide against all odds for you. I have been struggling in this regard as I haven’t been in the word as much recently as I would like to. This also incorporates an element of relying on myself for fuel instead of the living water I have been given to work through this process with. Jesus is worth my life and hope. If I have died to myself the overflow of my actions should reflect Jesus and I pray that the word drives this change in me and my life.
Back to the fundraising process, my hope is for God to powerfully show up in my efforts of raising money and to reveal his joy through the Spirit in my life and along with his word that will empower me to do the same unto others as I seek to know how loved I am by the father and how to share this journey I am on with everyone I know and love so dearly and invite them into it.
Please be praying for me in this process by praying against pride and for humility, against frustration and for joy, against sin and for hope in Jesus, against fear and for the power of truth in my life.
Also my route has been changed I am no longer going to El Salvador in November but instead we are going to Honduras which I am very excited and thrilled about. This is exciting for my team as we are getting prepared to live this missional life we are doing in six months when we launch to go to Panama in August.
