This month this boy’s smile brought me so much joy. We couldn’t communicate much because of the language barrier but seeing his smile and receiving a hug daily brought my soul joy.
This young man is one of the strongest and bravest people I’ve ever met. I watched as he persevered daily and never complained. He has a horrific bone infection that we wouldn’t see in the States because of our Medical resources.
The church at out ministry site in Rwanda has been praying nonstop for this boy. Last week a team of pastors from Australia prayed healing over his leg. He was supposed to have a surgery in 10 months but at his check up appointment the same doctor who scheduled the surgery in 10 months announced a miracle. The miracle is that his leg has healed immensely and is now ready to be operated on this coming week!
