Thailand has been a busy month for me but rewarding, educational, full of new adventures and encounters with amazing people.
The first two weeks I spent working with an organization that runs a Christian international school and church. I helped with grocery shopping, tutoring, and assisted teachers in the preschool classroom. The missionaries that run this organization used to have a childrens home twenty years ago and now have employed and continue to train these children who are now adults. Some of my other teammates had the opportunity to do baking lessons and create flower arrangements. It was such a testimony to see these young adults who were once abandoned now on fire for the Lord, thriving and building a future for themselves. In the evenings after ministry, I met with my team for team time to do check-ins, bible studies, worship and/or fun team building activities. On my days off, I had the opportunity to go to Sticky Falls to climb up a waterfall, experienced a traditional Thai message, and enjoyed a couple of awesome coffee shops.
Next week one of the pastors from this church is taking some of my teammates and I to a village to run hygiene clinics for the children. I am not sure what that will look like but I am excited and looking forward to sharing this experience with you.
Thank you for reading my blogs, praying and coming alongside me on this journey financially. I love and appreciate you!!
