Update:
With YOUR help I was able to raise $200 to complete challenge 1!!!! I chopped off my hair!!! Thankful that Vickie (my new teammate) went with me because I was panicking the entire the time the hairdresser was cutting my hair. Let’s just say my hair hasn’t EVER been this short! However, I am finally getting used to it and feeling like a new woman! 🙂
Also, I am one person away from completing challenge 3 ( 4 people to donate $100 each I will eat a delicacy in Nepal). Thank you for your prayers and financial support!
I am trying to finish fundraising and have decided to do something fun and outside my comfort zone. For each of the three challenges that is accomplished I am going to do something wild and crazy but I need your help to do it!
Here are the three challenges:
1. If I get 4 people to donate $50.00 each I WILL CHOP OFF MY HAIR!!!
2. If I get 4 people to donate $75.00 each I WILL GET MY NOSE PIERCED…YIKES!!!! (It is best to get my nose pierced in either India or Nepal, which means I only have about a month and a half to be able to complete this task)
3. If I get 4 people to donate $100.00 each I WILL EAT A DELICACY IN NEPAL. My options are Wachip (A dish made with chicken, rice and powder made out of burnt feathers of a chicken), Swan Puka (goat’s lungs), or Ghonghi (snail). I provided three choices because it depends on where I will stay in Nepal.
