Hey guys, My name is Vanessa and I am so excited to be apart of this amazing adventure known as the World Race!
My squad and I will be going on an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries to serve. We will be going to 1. Cote d’lvoire (Ivory Coast) 2. Ghana 3. Cambodia 4. Thailand 5. Myanmar (Burma) 6. India 7. Nepal 8. Belize 9. Guatemala 10. El Salvador and 11. Nicaragua
As much as I’d love to tell you precisely what I’ll be doing in each country, ultimately our tasks will depend on God’s leading and serving where needed most…. Looks like you’ll have to subscribe if you want to stay in the loop. (Wink, wink. Go ahead..hit that subscribe button)
BUT…as you sit on the edge of your seats…here are some fun facts about me. 🙂
1. I have lived in Queens, NY all my life (Queens Stand up!!, lol)
2. I am the youngest of 4 girls
3. I love Movies. I don’t really care for chick-flicks but LOVE a good action movie
4. Currently I work as a licensed claims examiner doing workers compensation insurance
5. Although born in the US I am of West Indian descent (S/o to Grenada and Barbados)
6. I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews
7. I love to laugh
8. I love Pinterest
9. I can eat a bag of spinach like most people eat chips (More than likely an iron deficiency…but I digress)
10. I’ll probably miss access to my bathroom the most while on the race
