Hey everyone! Heres a little update on how and what I’m doing in the Dominican Republic.

This first month has been interesting. It’s been amazing, hard, funny, and mentally draining. But I wouldn’t change it. The Lord has been growing me in ways I didn’t know I needed to grow.  He’s showing me a lot about what it means to trust Him and let go of control.  He’s showing me that some days, I have to be humble and rest even when I want to be with my team. He’s also growing me so much in showing me that He gave me my passions and my talents for His Kingdom. I’m excited to see what He’s going to teach me this year.

Okay, so now here is what we’ve been doing. There has been some pretty cool things going on down here in the DR. There is/was a four-month drought here. We prayed for rain the first day here, and you know what happened? The Lord sent rain.  It’s rained almost every day we’ve been here, praise God, and it’s been amazing to see Him answer prayers and intercessions. Our hosts’ daughters were sick in the hospital and they were there for the first few days.  All three of the daughters had gotten food poisoning, and it affected two of the girls harder than the other.  Selena, the oldest, had already been sick, so it took a toll on her strength and her health.  Starr, the middle daughter, has epilepsy and cyclic vomiting syndrome, so the sickness took a lot out of her. Soli, the youngest, recovered quickly and well.   While they were at the hospital, we didn’t know what to do for ministry on the property and we weren’t allowed to leave the ministry site, so we prayed for them and spent intentional time interceding on their behalf. We prayed for them everyday. And the Lord provided.  Though it’s a process, He’s provided and is continuing to provide healing for these ladies. They also couldn’t afford the hospital bill and the Lord provided through the family’s and the ministry’s supporters! He is faithful and He loves us so much and so well. Thanks to Jehovah Jireh, everyone is healing, able to be home, and the bills are being paid for. HE PROVIDES!

Thank you for reading, following, and supporting me through this part of my life. I appreciate you all so much!
