Hey sweet friends and family!!
I feel like all of my previous blogs have been pretty serious so this week were going to relax a bit and I want to update y’all on what has changed about me! I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions please let me know!!
1) I drink black coffee now.. no cream no sugar. As Trevor a boy from my hometown and squad would say I am a real woMAN now.
2) I got my nose pierced.. this one got me taken out of a will, but mom likes it so I’m not worried about it! I can always take it out!
3) I MISS MAKEUP AND MY CURLING IRON. I should have listened to my mom and Rachel when they said to bring it. They’ve already told me they told me so.
4) I journal.. As some of you know I am a verbal processor, basically I talk a lot. Ive learned that journaling is a way to verbally process what is going on in my head, sometimes I don’t even know what I am writing then I’ll go back and re-read what I’ve written and see how God is speaking to me though this process. don’t worry I still verbal process. Quick apologies to my team because sometimes I really feel like I never stop talking..
5) I like to clean and for my space to be clean. Yes, Mom, dad the time has come I am growing up. Sorry my room is a mess.. I cringe just thinking about it. Love y’all
6) I miss holidays at home. Usually I dread them just because they’re a lot of work. My moms the host with the most and everything is always perfect. I miss it. Sorry for being a brat about holidays mom and dad I do miss them with you. Also Halloween is only the first holiday I’m missing this year. Kinda emo.
7) I vlog now. Not really but I am working on one and it will be posted before we leave Costa Rica.
8) I rode in my first uber and already got points taken away.. Costa Ricans don’t like when you slam doors
9) I am a surfer!! I mean I didn’t get up all the way but I rode on my knees couple times, I still think its pretty cool!
10) The Lord is moving in my heart. I can hear and see Him move daily. It is truly beautiful and I can’t wait to see how much more he changes me over the next eight months!!
I hope everyone is doing well as y’all have been praying over me and my time here in Costa Rica I have been praying for you just in general. I would love to know what is going on in your lives so please send me an email or texting letting me know how I can be more specific in my prayers fo you! Again, thank you for the continued prayer there is so much peace about me being away from y’all for so long because the time away is rooted in God on both sides. I love and miss you.
