We have been on the field for 3 months now and that is crazy. I have shared with you guys a lot about my ministry and what my day looks like, but I haven’t shared about my team. This is my team of 8 girls and I wrote a little about each one of them. I have no clue what I would do without them because we have grown so close. Our team name is sisters and that couldn’t describe us more.
Tierney: T is the girl who loves on everyone. She makes sure that we are doing good and if we aren’t she will make sure to talk to us until we are good. T brings light to our team. When things come to her attention she gets it done. She is not a morning person and finds it funny when I wake up and go to her and say “Goodmorning sunshine.” T has a heart for the Lord and shows it. She encourages us daily to go out and be servants with positive attitudes.
Sarah: Sarah brings the team together with her personality. She is always ready to go hang with someone new and make them feel loved. She always knows what to say at the right time and gives you a new perspective on how to do things. Sarah is filled with energy and is ready to hype us up. She keeps our team laughing and brings joy to us always. You definitely can’t have a conversation with her without laughing. Sarah is definitely someone you would want on your team.
Maggie: Maggie is filled with joy. She is always eager to get things done and stay on track. She also loves to keep things organized and clean and helps us keep up with that. She is such a fun person to be around and her personality is the best. Maggie is our treasurer that keeps track of our money and that is hard sometimes but she hasn’t shown that. She loves on the kids at our ministry even through the hard times but she is always ready to try something new. Everything that is hers she lets us use and has a heart for sharing. Maggie’s heart for God is growing each day. She is always there to help give you advice when you need help. Maggie is always ready to love on people.
Hallie: the person who knows how to cheer you up. When she walks in the room you know she is going to say something that will make us all laugh. She brings joy and peace to our team. She has the best jokes. She teaches english at our ministry and always knows how to make it fun for the women to sit through. She sleeps right next to my bunk and always comments how my feet are in her face. Hallie has a heart for God and is definitely growing closer to him.
Alexandra: Ally is like our team mom. She is always caring for us and making sure we are feeling good. She will go out of her way and give us food whenever we feel hungry or just whenever. Ally has such a heart for kids and you can see it. She loves on the kiddos at our ministry and they love her dearly. She is filled with joy and I don’t think I have ever seen her have a bad day. She is eager to grow closer to God and always has advice for me when I am down.
Avery: This girl is always filled with the best advice. She steps out into her calling of being bold and we can always see that. She truly has a heart for the Lord and listens to him. Each Sunday we have one of our squad members speak and it can be hard and nerve racking but Avery stepped up and spoke. She is always teaching us something new and is sharing what God laid on her heart during morning devotions. Avery also has a crazy side to her and it is the best.
Mack: Mack is always filled up with energy and is ready to go. She is searching for new things and will always find something to do. She is the most adventurous and outgoing person. Mack has grown so much spiritually and is always wanting to know more. She sees the needs of other people and wants to help them out right away. Mack shows affection and loves on us. She is always teaching us something new.
These girls are my sisters and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us next. We are all eager to get to know the Lord more and more. We are excited that we can help each other through it. I love my sisters and I have no clue what I would do without them.
