It’s not about religion it’s about relationship. I think so much of the world is caught up in different religions and about what’s right and what’s wrong to much. In reality it’s about our relationship with the Father. It’s about our love and his love for us. He didn’t make us so we could divide and say who’s right and who’s wrong. He made us so love each other and follow him.
I believe the devil came in and made everyone have different opinions on what’s right and what’s wrong to separate us because he knows that when we are unified we can and will do damage to him.
Read the Bible, really read it and see what it says. See what it says about religion. About loving people and about following Jesus. The new testament is full of it. I mean FULL. If we read to see how Jesus acted and to see what he says then we can see where our own faults lie. I think if everyone agrees that the Bible is true- which it is then we have no place to argue and disagree with each other. We need to teach the harder things to each other and call each other higher when we see someone fall. We need to give that person grace also because we don’t want them to fall more.
We had an awakening last weekend and Deon (who is an AMAZING preacher) spoke to us about the supernatural of God. God is a supernatural God and loves to be that for us if we just ask for it and pray the prayers for it and have the faith that it will happen. He challenged us to think about that one thing we want to see or we want to learn and to pray a specific prayer and if it’s meant to be it will be. We really do serve an amazing God and it hurts my heart that so often he is put off as just a “good” God but he is so so much more then that and he can do crazy things in our lives if we just say yes and allow him too.
No matter how old you are right now I believe God wants to use you in crazy ways wether that is where you are in your work place or somewhere totally new. Take that scary step if he is telling you to. Do it. Ask him for a supernatural sign. Ask him to send you a letter or an email. He will do it and he will make it obvious you just have to choose to see it.
So if we can all be united and believe in His powers and what he is capable of. Wow. What we could do, what our world could turn into would be amazing.
So choose in. Choose in too have a relationship with the person who created you and loves you more than anything on this earth could. Choose into reading the Bible everyday and letting it set into your soul and your being. Choose into letting His love consume you so much that you can’t help but to love everyone you encounter. Choose Jesus and let him change your life.
