I’ve been to too many camps to be able to count with all fingers AND toes, but I can assure you that none of them are anywhere near to what World Race Training Camp was like.

Throughout the week, we were truly introduced into a new culture: their food, dress, customs, and sometimes language. I’ve never been out of the country, but I sure felt like I was with the different culture days. Every other day was a different part of the world; one day was Africa day, another Asia day, Central American day, India day (kudos to you if you can eat curie without getting sick), …

Besides being introduced to new cultures, we, or I at least, also experienced a shock in the spiritual aspect of it all. I learned a lot of new things and was introduced to so much that God has to offer and I am just more and more in awe of his awesomeness!!!!!

Best part of the 10 days though was meeting my squad and my team and forming such strong relationships/bonds with each and every one of them. I love them with my whole heart and couldn’t ask for a more amazing family that I am blessed to soon be spending 9 months with them.

Y’all. Life is good. God is better!

P.S. enjoy the beautiful faces of my teammates and squad mates
