I was sitting in the Atlanta hotel at launch and was taking everything in and looking back to how I got to this spot. And God made it clear to me that without the generosity you have given financially and/or emotionally I would not be going on the world race. So I want to take this blog to thank everyone who has given in any way.
To all the people who have taken time to disciple me in this season that God has called me to –
I would not be here without you. The coffee dates, the prayers, and constant support. Y’all have poured so much life into me and have showed me continuous love and support to further the kingdom of God. Y’all have no idea how much of the “little” things made this process even more sweeter. Praying for me specifically, listening to me going on and on about how crazy everything is has been the biggest blessings. Thank you for the hugs and the sweet embraces over the past month or throughout the whole journey. Truly y’all have gotten me here.
To the people who have given financially to my trip –
The pure generosity I have experienced before launch was something I didn’t think I would ever happen. How quickly y’all decided to support me not just with prayers but with a heart to give to an 18 year old girl who is leaving for nine months. It was crazy. Me sitting in the hotel at launch would not be happening without this specific support. God has met every need of mine financially and has gone over and beyond. Seeing God work in your hearts has been a blessing in itself. Looking back to a year ago, when I got accepted to the world race, $15,800 seemed like a million dollars that was unobtainable. God broke every lie the enemy was telling me about that number being too big to do the thing God has called me into. Updates on travel:
I’M IN QATAR !!!
We departed from Atlanta around 6am and made it to Boston! We then had a 14 hour layover where we got to explore the city a little bit and hang out in the airport. Our flight to Qatar departed around 10pm & we had a 11 hour flight and right now its 10pm in Qatar. Catching a flight to Johannesburg around 2am !!!! Whoop Whoop!!!!!
