So let’s start out with how a normal day would go

  • would wake up in a tent (or if your tent broke like mine) a hammock
  • Pack up everything back into my back pack tent and all!
  • Head down the hill to go eat an exotic  breakfast with 8 other people and one plate of food. And sometimes with your hands
  • Session and training tell lunch
  • Lunch which same as breakfast (the food was different)
  • Session again or team building
  • Sometimes fold training
  • Free time/ bucket shower time (was cold but amazing)
  • Dinner
  • Worship the session
  • Then free time tell 11 then bed time.

I also had to sleep in a tent with 12 other girls, sleep in a airport scenario where I froze all night, got my big bag “lost in the air port” and had to share a tent.

So now that you know how a normal day went now I can tell you how amazing God worked through all of us! Imagine a middle size room filled up with about 300 teenagers, elbow to elbow, worshiping God. And everyone was on fire for God! Jumping and singing, sometimes crying. IT WAS AMAZING. Let me tell you about how God worked in my life. So in my walk with God in my life I was just there. I didn’t really have the Holy Spirit most of the time but I had it for a little bit. But when I walked into that room with 300 kids ready to praise Jesus it was like everything in the world didn’t matter, just Jesus Christ and how I am going to get there and spread his word. And then when the band started to play and the whole room started to sing and jump it was the Holy Spirit moving through everyone and making them on firer for Jesus. So before I went to training I hardly read the Bible. And would only pray when I was at church and at home with my family. But now that God has worked in and gave me the Holy Spirit! I’ve been not only reading the Bible once a day but sometimes more then once a day. Praying all throughout the day, God changed me and so many more teens in that 10 days. God has no limits and he will do anything for you to come closer to him and surrender it all to him.

My favorite song on and on by housefire: “And if I clothe myself in shadow

Would I fade away from You?

No, even if I fall to the deepest darkness

Your love surrounds me still.”   He says No because their is nothing that we can do that God won’t forgive and if we just call out his name and ask he will be there.  It also says “There is no ending to Your

Love that holds on and won’t let go

Love that won’t leave me on my own

I’m falling deeper into Your

Love that holds on and won’t let go

Love that won’t leave me on my own” because he won’t let go!

So we had this activity where we got into our team and had to draw a picture about how I view God and I drew this mountain with Jesus in bold letters with this bright sun. And I drew that because all the highs and lows Jesus will be there and even in the darkness if we call out to him and just say Jesus he will show us the light and bring us out of it. And that’s how I view him. James 4:7 “submit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

because of training camp I have made my faith my own now. Not because me parents went so I went I now go because I want to grow in the word and spread it to everyone in the world

Please keep my team and I in your prayers while we get ready to go on the race there. There are 38 girls on the team and 9 guys on our squad and they are all so amazing! My team has picked the name “MOSAIC” because we are all broken but when we all come together we are Beautiful and mosaic. Please keep Helen, Kat, Nat, Lindsey, Kenzie, Paige, McKenna, and I, in your prayers As we are getting ready for the world race.
