The majority of the pictures that you see on World Race blogs are the nice, pretty pictures that took some thought. However, my favorite pictures are the spur of the moment ones, that bring back the funniest memories.
So, to funny memories and 35 days until iSquad is reunited, I present to you Training Camp: Behind the Scenes!
When being able to call yourselves a team for the first time, you are always in for few weird looks.
Possibly a mentor that throws his water bottle at the group to get a funny picture…
He felt terrible if you were wondering!
And our team could not believe that that actually just happened!
Each day we simulated that we were in a different regions, this meant that meal time was always nerve wracking!
But most of the time, the meals were delicious (or we were just really hungry)!
Still to this day, I have no idea what is going on in the background of this picture…
Everyday during quiet time, it was almost always quiet!
Training Camp meant lots of great music, which equates to lots of dancing!
I really mean a lot!
There were illnesses along the way, but iSquad knows how to make the best of any situation.
Sometimes we really didn’t know what was going on…
And some days we were exhausted.
Like fall asleep at meals exhausted!
At times, we felt like giving up!
But there was always more dancing to look forward to!
And games to play!
No matter how trying Training Camp was, there were always pictures to photobomb!
And funny faces to make!
But the best part was the thought of getting to do all of this with these great people for 11 months! (And a real shower once you got home!)
