I don’t know where you’re at in life. I don’t know if you follow God diligently and step into full obedience; I don’t know if you are the furthest from Him you’ve been all your life; I don’t know if you are reading this because you are simply my friend that wants to keep up to date with what’s going on my life and you refer to no religion at all.
I want to tell you no matter who you are that you’ve been lied to. You are lied to almost daily. We live in a broken world with a lot of hate and shame. We tend to isolate ourselves in our problems, thinking that we have been solely selected to suffer and go through hard times and that we are alone. We think that we have run too far in the opposite direction that there is no hope anymore. This is not the case.
Here are 25 truths that a friend gave me when they did not know where I was in life. These truths are something you may have to read to yourself every day. You may have to sit with one of awhile. You may browse through them and a few might stop you in your tracks as you realize a lie you didn’t know you were believing.
God wants more for us; He wants more for you. Take a minute out of your day to read the truths He has for us.
1. I am holy and pleasing to the Lord.
2. Jesus is proud of me.
3. There is nothing too big for Him to forgive.
4. He died for everything in my past AND my future.
5. This is NOT the end for me.
6. I am not uniquely bad.
7. Jesus is not ashamed to be seen with me.
8. What happens proves that my heart works.
9. I long to be loved and cared for and I will not be ashamed.
10. I am not too far gone.
11. It is no different than if it were to have happened with someone else.
12. You and I are not bigger than the cross.
13. Your life is not over.
14. This does not speak of who you are, this is not you.
15. Even though it still requires repentance it is a lot more common than we think.
16. You did not ruin God’s plans for you.
17. You did not ruin some other persons life.
18. It is not your responsibility to heal the other person.
19. You don’t have to live in shame.
20. You are royalty.
21. His yoke is easy; His burden light.
22. He finds joy in me.
23. He never walked away.
24. He wants to give me an abundance of healing.
25. He loves me to no end.
I pray the Lord meets you wherever you are. I pray He finds you and pursues you fully. I pray you open up to His truth and may step into whatever He has for you.
Much love and many blessings,
Rachel
