I have genuinely loved every country I have been to. some more than others & some were definitely harder to love but I have learned & lived in some incredible places & for that I am thankful. however, for the time being I wanted to focus on where my feet are currently planted.
Ecuador! the kind of place that takes your breath away every time you walk out the door. not only because it is beautiful but also because I have super bad asthma :’) we are staying in Quito which is the capital city of the country & my route specifically is very familiar with cities. despite the business & large amount of people around us, the mountains & greenery & birds-eye like views of the colorful houses & downtown parts of the city that surround us at all times certainly makes up for it. then you add the incredible people I’m around & you question how am I deserving of this??? it quite honestly is the best of all worlds. in addition to the things I mentioned above, there is a cheap pizza place up the street, a ton of places to adventure around where we live, & I get genuinely excited to go to ministry every morning (but not excited to make the walk there). I mean how lucky am I to be able to finish my race here? truly a place & a time I’ll cherish forever!!
