hello all! I have been MIA lately but some crazy things have still been happening. I am currently in Costa Rica & have been for about a month. since I have slacked at telling you what life has been looking like, I am here to catch you up! with three separate blogs!!!! wanted to keep them as short & sweet as possible so here we are.

we were quickly welcomed to Costa Rica by the sweetest of people & the prettiest of views. the Adventures in Missions base is located a little outside of the capital of San Jose in a suburb nearby. the neighborhood is very nice & is in walking distance of a Walmart (hallelujah). also, the base is crazy awesome— we have chores & home-cooked meals & a backyard!!! I kid you not, I felt like it was an answer to so many prayers when I saw all that the base had to offer, including an incredible mountain view, hopefully this gives you all a glimpse of how heavenly our house is. yes it’s a house! I’m a big fan of the city, but after spending three months in the cities of asia, it feels super nice to settle down in a house with all of my squad mates & get a familiar feeling of family. (plus it was a really good place to fight jetlag after traveling for quite some time). our first couple days consisted of staying at the base & getting introduced to the staff that would facilitate our time here in Costa Rica. we were given an idea of what the next couple months would look like, in addition to cultural things to be aware of.
after we got a feel for our new home, we were sent off again to see more of the country. off to Puerto Viejo we went & now onto the next blog!!!
