So I’ve been in Guatemala for around a week now and let me tell y’all… It is easily one of the most beautiful places that I have laid my eyes on. The place we’re calling home for the next three months comes with quite a few amazing amenities. Like first off we have two amazing Guatemalan ladies that cook for us twice a day! We’re truly blessed to have them… Also, talking about being blessed, each team has a room equipped with bunk beds and a bathroom with a shower and HOT water!
We started ministry Monday and wow is God showing himself in Guatemala… The first day of ministry we talked to a security officer named Francisco. He didn’t go to church and didn’t know much about Jesus or the gospel but was really intrigued with everything. He told us after some more conversation that he wanted to know the Lord more and that he was ready to give his life to Christ! So day one were out here seeing people come to know the Lord and I am honestly thriving!
Day two of ministry was actually one of the most amazing days of my life. Throughout the day my team experienced some incredible things that I would never have thought possible when I woke up that morning. We witnessed the Lord heal two people of their injuries/ illnesses… WOW!!! Never did I think I would ever see something like it in my life. I’m truly and honestly amazed by the power and love of God.
Its been ten days and I can officially say I’m in love with Guatemala and God! My journey is only beginning so stay tuned to hear more about my life over the next 9 months!
