I know that everyone’s emails and newsfeeds are jammed packed with COVID-19 updates, so I will try to make this short and quick.
Adventures In Missions has prayerfully made the decision to bring all of their international squad’s home from the field as soon as possible because of the Coronavirus. There are 500+ Racers that are now making the transition back home. This was an incredibly hard decision and my team is feeling the weight and sorrow of our fellow Racers right now.
My team, which has been traveling in the States, as of now, will NOT be recalled from our route. With that being said, we are taking the necessary precautions to remain safe on the field. Right now my team is working with a ministry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and we will remain here in Philadelphia until further notice.
Ministry here has changed, but is still continuing. While some programs have had to shut down, new opportunities have opened up. Because so many ministries have had to stop or slow operations, many at-risk members of the community are suffering. The ministry that we are partnering with, The Rock Ministries, is shifting to meet these needs in the community. We will be distributing ‘blessing bags’ in the coming days to the homeless in the community as well as continuing limited street evangelism and food distribution.
My team and I are honored to be able to continue to serve during this time. We are believing that the Lord is going to continue to move powerfully here. As we watch many of our friends re-transition home, we are reminded that the Lord has spoken POWERFUL things over America. Revival is coming and nothing can stop it.
