Important Announcement!!
As of January 31st my blog will be password protected, (exactly like it was while I was in Vietnam) meaning that you will have to enter a password before gaining access to my blog.
As many of you know I am headed to Myanmar for the Month of February. What you might not know is that there is an ethnic cleansing happening in Myanmar, which means that for the safety and protection of my ministry partners, my team, and myself, I have to be discreet and thoughtful about what I post. My squad and I will be entering the country as humanitarian volunteer workers and our general social media posts will reflect that diction. Our route will take us through several closed countries, so this is the last of several times that a password will be used to view my blog. Upon exiting closed countries, I will remove the password protection and my blog will function as it always has. If my blogs or posts touch you in any way, please feel free to continue to share them on social media or with your friends along with the password to my blog (just please share the same mindfulness in your postings about my trip during this time). Note that you will still be able to subscribe (and unsubscribe- but you don’t want to do that *wink wink*) to my blog at this time.
My squad and I will all be using the same password for all of our blogs, for your convenience:
ISQUAD2018 (All caps)
I would love to answer any questions that you have regarding this change, you can always reach out through my email: [email protected]. I would also like to add that there are no extra safety concerns in regards to being in a closed country, we take these precautions only to respect the authority and government of that country.
Thank you so much for supporting me and following my journey. God has done some amazing things here during our time in Europe and Asia and I’m excited to see all of the things that He has planned for our time in this country!
Some prayer requests:
- That God goes before us and prepares the hearts of those we will encounter in this month.
- Abundance and growth for the ministries that we will be partnering with.
- Growth and depth for the ministries we leave behind. That God continues to work and magnify His greatness through the people He has faithfully planted here.
- Also for me personally, that I am able to continue to humble myself before God and grow deeper with Him and be developed into the woman of God that He has called me to be.
Much Love,
Morgan
