This week has been a blast! We started ministry in a town called Zandspruit. We divided into teams before we went out into ministry. My team consisted of Logan, Abigail, Jesse, our translator,  and I. We started walking down this street and found a house and talked to a man and a woman and God to love on them! We got to teach them about to Gospel. They didn’t have a bible so my good friend Jesse decided to let them have his bible. It was so awesome to just spend time with them and love on them.

We continued to walk down the street for about 3 house before we stopped again but before we stopped I showed every person that we passed some “magic”. I only know of one magic move as of right now but they fall for it every time. I love see the faces of the kids and adults when I pull out my only magic trick. When we stopped at the next house there was a barber shop next door and I love to cut hair so I went in this little shack and asked to cut some guys hair but he said no lol. I stayed in there and talked to them for a little bit then pulled out my magic trick. They were shook. There was a man, a woman, and two kids. One of the kids was about 11 and the other was about 3 months old. The lady said “Here take a picture with my baby” Then she put the baby in my arms and started laughing. I didn’t know why she was laughing but I laughed to. Then she took a picture with me holding her baby lol. They were super nice people and had so much joy. Next we went to a place where Logan was teaching these guys about the bible. Jesse and I were playing with these kids. Abigail was talking to these woman who had babies. It was so cool because we all had roles to fill in sharing Jesus with everyone around us. Whether it looks like reading scripture with others, playing with kids, or just having conversations with moms and their babies.

Lunch time came around and so we started to head back to where our meeting point for lunch. And before we left Jesse gave these kids his hacky sack. We ate lunch our sandwiches at this buy and braii. The tables full then a man with his wife and sister asked Jesse, Alicia, and I to sit with them. And of course we sat with them and got to know each other a little bit. They asked us “Where are you guys from?” and we said the United States of America. But before that they told us they were kind of upset. They thought we were there to shut the place down lol. I guess when 20 people walk into a building they thought “Ohh this can’t be good”.  They were pretty happy to meet us they said “I never got to actually sit down and talk to Americans, I am glad we came here today because we were about to just cook out at the house”. And it was totally a God thing because we got to share Jesus’ love with them just by loving on them and having conversations with them. They didn’t live in the slums they just went there to go eat because it is a really good place. I showed them a magic trick before we left and there were all mind blown lol. They got our contact information before we left so they could get a hold of us if they wanted to talk. This was just an amazing day.

I could not be more thankful for my life the way it is. Thanks to all of my supporters that made this opportunity possible. I am currently still fundraising. I have to reach 15,800 by January 16th or I will be sent home from the World Race. Luckily, thanks to all of the support I have received so far I am at 13,300 which means I have to raise 2,500 in three weeks. Please pray about donating and if you feel called to donate you can donate at monchovillegas.theworldrace.org. All donations are tax deductible.

Please help keep me on the field. Thank you so much for all of the support so far.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
