Hola from the Chica who is not a Tica but is down here in Costa Rica. But in all seriousness hello everyone! There hasn’t been much change but I just wanted to give you all a quick update and let you know that ministry last week went really well! The Lord really grew me in me relationships with the kids I get to work with. I will admit being my teams translator was really a struggle for me the first couple weeks here. I loved being able to help but by mid-week my brain would already be fried and I felt like I could not process anymore Spanish. This week however, the Lord really blessed me and I just felt the translations came easily without my brain having to work overtime. I am by no means fluent but my Spanish is improving and I would ask that you continue to pray for my Spanish ability to increase and for the language barrier to decrease. I will not be at ministry next week. My entire squad is going on a five day debrief to meet and discuss with our mentors about our first month of ministry. We’re staying at a hostel and we’ll have the opportunity to do different excursions, and take surfing lessons. That’s really all I have for you guys. Please keep me and my team in your prayers, thank you so much for reading my blog. May the Lord bless and keep you all.

Sincerely,

Molly McCrary

P.S. A Tico is what Costa Ricans are called. Tica is the feminine form.
