My Psalm 23
Thank You, Lord, for being my Shepherd.
With You, I have everything that I need.
But sometimes I allow myself to forget that.
When my mind is racing and my thoughts are stirring,
Make me lie down and rest in perfect peace.
Thank You for leading me,
It’s all for Your Glory.
Even though there are times when the enemy tries to suck the life out of me,
I am not afraid.
Because You are not only helping me,
But you are always with me.
Your staff guides me, and Your rod protects me.
You make me feel so safe and secure.
You comfort me.
You prepare a table before me;
It’s only set for 2: You and me.
I will not let the enemy take my seat.
You fill me up so much, that I can’t help but pour out.
Only Your goodness and steadfast love surround me.
Forever and ever.
Thank You, Lord, that I get to spend eternity with You in our Heavenly home.
