It took us a grand total of 5 days, but we drove through Tibet! This, along with many other moments this year, was without a doubt one of the coolest things I have ever done. A once in a lifetime opportunity for sure! Tibet was so cool! I mean, literally, it was freezing! I had to pull out my hoodie for the first time since I left the States. Seriously though, it was an incredible place. The landscape and the people were absolutely beautiful. We got up to 17,000+ feet in elevation a few times. It was gorgeous up there, but man did I get myself a wicked headache! For about 72 hours straight, I felt like my entire face was going to explode. Glad it didn’t. I ate some yak meat for the first time and drank about a pint of butter tea in one sitting (it’s basically just liquified butter—my dream come true). Below are a few pics I snapped during our journey:

Driving through Tibet, I kept thinking “WOW! God created all of this!” He’s such an amazing Creator!! What’s even more amazing is that He not only created it, but He sits enthroned above it all. WOW WOW WOW!!! The same God that formed this beautiful earth and these monstrous, majestic Himalayan mountains is the same God that deeply loves me and desires a personal relationship with me (and YOU!). That’s incredible.
