Well folks, I’m definitely in the thick of the 10/40 Window now. Please bear with me through these next couple of months. There’s only so much information I can divulge.
Yesterday was the best day ever because I got to go to a school and hang out in PE world all day. I whipped out my favorite games and ran class just like I do in the states. It was so fulfilling for me. At one point my second grade group was playing MarioLand—a fan favorite for all elementary students back at Hickory Grove—and these kids were eating it up! Everyone was smiling and sweating, which is always my ultimate goal. I was so happy that I was literally fighting back some serious tears. This school is a very safe space, so I had complete freedom to do and say whatever I felt necessary. Oh, it was so amazing. I’m still beaming 🙂
