After 4 days of training in Atlanta, my squad and I began our very long journey to destination #1: Australia. 5 different airports, 4 flights, 32+hours in the air, a couple of fun layovers in LA and Singapore, and quite the jacked up sleep schedule later, we have finally arrived. I can’t believe I’m here!!
Please be in prayer for all of us as we are hard core exhausted and jet lagged. Also, if you could please pray for my finger…. I lost a fight with a razor blade yesterday. Baggage mishap. Rather than go get stitches in a Singaporean hospital, I superglued it back together in the airport terminal (rest assured, I sought sound medical advice before execution). Pray that it heals quickly and that no infection sets in.
I’ll be sure to keep y’all in the loop this month! Stay tuned for fun facts about Australia, ministry updates—complete with visual aids 🙂 — and more prayer requests. Now if you’ll please excuse me, I’m going to go see if there are any koala bears around here that need a hug.
