Ready or not, the time has come (sidebar: I’m feeling totally ready!). My bags are packed, most of the goodbyes have been said, and I’ve consumed as much last minute Chick-Fil-A as humanly possible. Now all that’s left to do is give my Beagle as many snuggles as I can in these final few hours before I head down to Atlanta for Launch.

The last couple of weeks have been nothing short of amazing. I’m leaving home feeling humbled by others’ generosity (I’m officially fully funded, y’all!!); feeling thankful for my friends and family; feeling truly loved, supported, and encouraged by the wonderful people God has put in my life; and I’m leaving home with a heart that is overflowing with joy. I truly believe that God fills us up so that we can pour into others… those are the vibes I get from Paul in the first few verses of 1 Corinthians. It is my prayer that all of this goodness I’ve been granted rubs off on those I come in contact with in the coming days and weeks.

I was at some friends’ house having dinner last week, and up on the wall in their dining room is some artwork that reads, The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you. I can’t tell you how many times over the years I’ve probably seen that artwork and looked right through it. But now I’ve found myself at a place where those words carry so much weight. I know that no matter where I’m at in life or on the globe, the Lord has a perfect plan (Proverbs 3:5-6, Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28,) and I am covered in His Grace (Ephesians 2:8-9, 4:7).

This is about to get real, folks. Here we go…
