This week for blogging, our team decided to write about each other. This is us, from another point of view.

MCKENNA FLOOD. My girl!!!!! a warrior, a daughter, a listener and encourager. I have had the honor of getting to know McKenna over the past few months & have loved all of it.

She is a friend. an honest, caring & LOYAL friend. I can go to her for anything and trust that she will speak words of truth and life into my life.

I have seen McKenna grow so much in her patience and her attitude in the race so far. The McKenna I know today is not the same McKenna I met in July (in a good way). This McKenna is a warrior. She is strong in her faith and is a defender. She is compassionate and has a heart bigger then most. She is an encourager, spitting out random truths at the best times. When she walks into a room, the atmosphere becomes safer. SHE IS BOLD and leads me more & more to christ every single day. McKenna is loyal to those who invest in friendship with her.

When she makes a friendship, it’s not a surface level friendship. It is deeply rooted like a flower. Being watered by her words of encouragement and growing towards the light. To know her is to know a real friendship. Friendship that is honest, and truthful. Friendship that will stand and fight for you. When you are loved by Mckenna you are LOVED!

My favorite memories with McKenna are all the little ones.

-She has this dance move she is ICONIC for here and truly embody who she is.

-Travel day McKenna. She is delirious and goofy. She makes the funniest comments and gave all of us a good laugh flying from Costa Rica to SA

-In costa rica, at one of our ministry’s some of us would have to work in the kitchen sometimes. McKenna was always my favorite person to work with because we would always have really good conversation.

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” Isaiah 40:31

I think this describes McKenna and the way the lord is changing her heart & growing her into the women of christ that she is. He has given her a new strength. she is running the race the Lord has put at her feet!

I’m so thankful for my friendship with McKenna. She is a key piece in our mosaic & without her- our mosaic would just be a bunch of  broken glass.
