Thank you for visiting my page. I’m Sylmaris Quinones, but you can call me Mari. I’m the oldest of four Puerto Rican kids. To start, I would like to tell you a little story:
When I was around 12 years old, I remember telling my dad about how much I wanted to go on this mission trip that my church was having at the time. I don’t remember where they were going to, but what I do remember is feeling that passion to go and help people. Now, I’m 24 years old and I’m finally doing it. I’m going to the World Race in August 2018.
I’ll be going to Costa Rica, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Cambodia, Malawi, Malaysia, Thailand, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Indonesia, and Panama. I will be staying in each of these countries for a month. Letting go of everything and to depend fully on God. Sharing the love of Jesus with everyone I meet. My journey isn’t going to start… it already did.
BUT! It’s not just for me. I will be taking you on the same journey. I want you to see what I see and live what I live through the race. I want God to stir your heart as you read through these blog posts and look at pictures. I will need your help to get there though.
Whether it’s by helping me spread the word, praying for me and my squad, or donating, I can’t do this without you. You are an essential part of this missions trip. I thank you for all of your support! You are amazing!

Gracias por visitar mi pagina. Mi nombre es Sylmaris Quinones, pero me puedes llamar Mari. Soy la mayor de cuatro hijos puertorriqueños. Les quisiera contar una historia para empezar:
Cuando yo tenia 12 años, me acuerdo haberle mencionado a mi padre que yo quería ir a un viaje misionero que mi iglesia tenia en ese tiempo. No recuerdo a donde iban, pero recuerdo la pasión que sentía por ir a servir a otros. Ahora tengo 24 años y por fin lo voy a hacer. Voy a participar en el viaje misionero de 11 meses llamado “World Race”.
Ire a Costa Rica, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Cambodia, Malawi, Malaysia, Thailand, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Indonesia, and Panamá. Estaré viviendo en cada uno de estos países por un mes. Dejaré todo atrás y dependeré completamente en Dios durante este tiempo. Compartiré el amor de Jesús con todos los que conozca. Mi trayectoria no va a empezar… ya empezó.
PERO! No es solo MI viaje. Te llevare conmigo en el viaje. Quiero que veas lo que yo veo. Quiero que vivas lo que yo viva en este viaje misionero. Quiero que Dios toque tu corazón al ver las fotos y leer los blogs que escriba. Necesito tu ayuda para poder llegar a ir a este viaje misionero.
Me puede ayudar regando la voz, orando por mi y por mi equipo, o donando, no puedo hacer esto sin ti. Eres una parte esencial de este viaje misionero. Gracias por todo su apoyo! Son los mejores!
