I have been trying to figure out what I want to share with you all when it comes to Indonesia. Last time you heard I was having a mid-race-crisis and was going through culture shock. Well, I am happy to inform that I kicked it’s butt back! (In a good way I promise).

The tree house we lived in was only a week, it felt like a month though. We had all comforts stripped away, even the comfort of dry clothes. But, we saw God move in the lives of men who were so willing to be open and family to us. So in order to honor our family for a week 2 in Indonesia I want to share with you 11 things that I learned in only 7 days! I hope you enjoy!

1. You can do anything for 24 hours.

2. Showering in the river will mean you’ll have to take selfies.

3. You can wash your dishes with sand and then soap in the same river.

4. You can survive 7 days off potatoes, cabbage and green beans.

5. A tree house for a home means your door is always open.

6. If there is no sun your clothes will not dry and you will wear the same pants 4 days. you will leave the mountains and still your “washed” clothes will be wet.

7. Coffee in the mountains is one part palm sugar one part coffee.

8. You can choose to slide down, surf down or fall down the mountain after camping.

9. Indonesia is pure and beautiful.

10. God lives in the hearts of humans.

11. There is one Muslim man in the mountains of Indonesia that wants to know more about Jesus.

If you’d like to hear more (details) about these 11 things to remember please message me! I loved this month, I was challenged, but you can only get diamonds if you put them through the fire!

Thank you for supporting me and praying for me!
