I’ve collected all of my gear. I’m spending as much time as I can soaking up every minute with my wonderful friends and family. I’m preparing my heart for the inevitable “see you later’s” (hoping that this will somehow keep me from ugly crying, but I have a feeling that will happen regardless haha). Eating all of my favorite foods. Praying big expectant prayers. Saving every penny. Finding myself in the midst of sleepless nights filled with anxious thoughts, but also overflowing with joy and excitement.
I think that just about describes my life over the past month perfectly.
Days are coming and going; whether I’m ready or not.

In order to meet my next fundraising deadline ($10,000) on August 24th I have to raise about $2,300. So… SURPRISE I’m doing another fundraiser!

TRAINING CAMP
For those of you who have no clue what training camp is, here is the lowdown:
On July 10th I’ll arrive in Gainesville, GA for ten days of camping outside in a tent, getting to know the 50 people I’ll get to call family over the next year, worshiping our Savior, and learning how to be the missionary God has called me to be! There will be tons of field, spiritual, and practical preparation/ training.
Please keep me in your prayers throughout the time I am away! More specifically, please pray that I would walk into training camp with zero expectations and a heart that is eager to press into uncomfortable situations:) Because we all know how out of my comfort zone camping and bucket showers are (lol).
I am so excited for this adventure and to get a little taste of what God has in store for the next year of my life! I look forward to sharing my training camp experiences with y’all!
