We are here, and we are excited. 50 members of our squad are gathered in one big house in Curridabat, Costa Rica. I share a room with 9 other girls. Looking out from the balcony, I can see a giant mountain with a village of shacks below it. Yesterday a group of us took the bus into the city of San Jose. We wandered the city in search of some authentic Costa Rican food, we ate rice, and stopped at a bakery to eat some sweet treats. My team and I start ministry tomorrow. We drive over an hour to the slums to help with whatever we can, manual labor, teaching English, teaching art, and instruments. Im hoping to start a vlog, so you can have an insight on whats going on over here. Thank you!
