Welcome to my blog! As I begin this crazy, exciting, scary journey that is the World Race Swmesters, this is where I will update you on whatever is going on. I have no idea what that will look like, so bear with me!
You may or may not really know me, so here’s a quick introduction:
I’m Liz! I grew up in a tiny town in the tiniest state, and have lived here basically my whole life. My family is wacky and wonderful, but wouldn’t be complete without my three sweet puppies and cat. My flute is my best friend, and I’ve been playing for 10 years now. Modern Family, dad jokes, and chocolate peanut butter ice cream bring me joy, just in case you were wondering.
I love my church, and how they’ve encouraged and supported me as I’ve grown up and matured in my faith. My community there has taught me what serving and loving the Lord looks like, and because of them, I found my love for missions. The summer after my sophomore year of high school, I went to Guatemala with Adventures in Missions, and this past summer I went to Swaziland. I fell in love with these beautiful countries, but am so excited to explore a new part of the world and all the adventurrs it will bring!
If you want to follow me on this next adventure, you can subscribe to this blog! I also invite you to friend or follow me on Facebook and Instagram for more details, pictures, fundraising projects, etc. OR I would love love love to talk to you in person about this! Coffee (or hot chocolate) anyone?
