So change of plans.
I was originally supposed to go to Bolivia for month two with my team but due to the political unrest in the country it wasn’t deemed safe for us to go. With our safety in mind we will be spending another month in Peru but at a different ministry site.
We left on a flight this morning from Cusco, Peru, to Lima. We will be leaving on an overnight bus this evening for 11 hours to our ministry city further north in Pacasmayo, Peru. We will be partnering with Inglesia La Antorcha. We may be helping in the preschool program for needy children, church, missionary training school, feeding, tutoring, health monitoring, and spiritual development, teaching English, evangelism, organization/cleaning.
In the meantime, here is a beautiful recap video of our ministry last month and our partnership with Calvary Chapel Cusco. It was a great but trying month. Lots of growth and leaning on God as I team lead 5 amazing ladies. It’s been interesting having a second go around at this but now being on the other side and with different perspective. I’m grateful and humbled every day by this short season I am in as an alumni team leader.
