Hey Guys! I have some very exciting news! In September of 2018, I will be going on the World Race Gap Year! This is a 9 month long mission trip for 18-20 year olds who have recently finished high school. On this journey, I will be partnering with Adventures in Missions to spread the Word and love of Christ to the people of Thailand, Malaysia, Costa Rica, and Ecuador.
For over 3 years, my family and I have been living in Swaziland working with Adventures in Missions, and for the last year or so I have really been asking myself the question, “Where is God leading me next?”
Living in Swaziland, we come in contact with many Adventures in Missions and Children’s Hope Chest teams. Some of these teams include World Race teams. As I have met some of the World Racers, I have often thought how awesome it would be to do what they are doing. I want to impact people with love, share the Gospel, get out of my comfort zone, and just have that sense of community along the way with other believers. I looked at the World Race website, decided to apply, and prayed that if this was what God wanted me to do that He would open the right doors for it to happen. My interview went well and the next day I received a phone call saying that I had been accepted. This was an answer to my prayers. Within the next few days, the routes were released and I secured my spot.
As I prepare for my journey, I face a few challenges. I have a lot of money to raise and need lots of prayer warriors to accompany me on my journey. By supporting me, you can help me impact the communities that I will be serving in. My goal is to have AIM’s required $15,800 raised before September of 2018, when I launch. If you feel led to give, please do so by clicking “donate” on my blog. Ways in which you can be praying for me are that God will give me wisdom in raising all of the funds that I need, for strength and courage as I go out onto the mission field away from my family, and that I will be a beacon for Christ everywhere I go and love as He loves us.
Please also feel free to subscribe to my blog to receive updates from me while I am on the field. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at [email protected], contact me on Facebook Messenger, or just comment on this blog.
Yours in Christ,
Landon Mullins
