Wow. God is AMAZING. I’m thinking back to all the times that God has answered prayers and provided for me.

  • When my teammate prayed that He’d give me courage to share something hard about my past, and He not only gave me courage, but JOY.
  • When I prayed over a squadmate and God did what I asked Him to down to the specifics!
  • Before prayer walking/evangelism, we all prayed asking God who He wanted us to talk to and/or what He wanted us to say. I felt like He said to look for a guy in a blue shirt. That day, my team didn’t have a translator, so we were on our own for trying to communicate. We walked to a park, and some other squadmates were already there, so we turned around to leave when one of my teammates pointed out a guy in a blue shirt. So we tried talking to him, and he spoke fluent English! God provided for us in our need.
  • Before going out on that same day, God gave one of my teammates a message to tell someone. We saw a couple in a park, and she got to share it with this guy. It touched his heart, because God was speaking to him through her.
  • Prayer Walking was half of our ministry in Nicaragua. One day, we passed a house with multiple of the family members sitting outside. Our translator talked to one of the men, and told us that their family had just received a phone call that one of the women’s husband had died. They were all together, mourning because of the news. We prayed for them, and the man who had been talking to us said that God sent us to them. God’s perfect timing and intentional, intricate care for that family was so evident that day.

God is so good. He is faithful. These are some examples of how He has moved in the last several months.

Prayer Request: One of the long-term missionaries at the base in Nicaragua was recently seriously injured. He is okay, but still needs to recover. Be in prayer for him, for the doctors, and for everyone it has affected. Pray for hope, peace, encouragement, and perseverance. He loves the Lord, and is such a willing worker for the Kingdom. And God is trustworthy!
